Good evening!
I asked myself the question of optimizing one project made on ModX Evolution. I got into i.webmaster and found a bunch of 404 errors for an image added to the page through the TinyMCE editor.
The essence of the problem: I add a relative link to the image of the form /img/pic.jpg (or the full link site.ru/img/pic.jpg) to the page, for example, site.ru/page/
The editor successfully transforms the link to the image into img/ pic.jpg (no slash at the beginning).
Because of this, the robot receives a link to the image site.ru/page/img/pic.jpg
How to fix this problem? TinyMCE 3.5.11

Try CKEditor ( https://modx.com/extras/package/ckeditor). He hasn't had any problems with it yet.

The site is wrong. For both versions of MODX, you need to add the tag:
<base href="/">
