Please advise a free engine for creating a directory of sites. Simple and functional, with an attractive design.

WordPress ( wordpress.org + Article Directory ( dimox.name/wordpress-plugin-article-directory ) + Design ( dimox.name/wordpress-theme-article-directory )
Cons: a little heavy, on very cheap (read stripped down) hosting possible It's subjectively more difficult to make up your own design for WP
Pros: easy to use, apart from the catalog, all Wordpress functionality remains.
