Advise, please, firewall. Ideally, it's free. In principle, you can also pay (but with a one-time payment, and not by subscription). Firewall in Windows is not trusted :)

Look... There are shells that help to properly configure the built-in firewall to a normal state. Google, there are definitely three popular ones.
And so all manufacturers of antiviruses have their own opinion on this matter. I personally prefer AVG (recently either Avira ate it or vice versa). Kaspersky let me down a couple of times with all sorts of obscenities from mail.ru - for some reason I don't understand, he himself allowed it access to the network.
In general, anyone with a "learning mode" is suitable for me - it somehow happened that it is convenient for me. BUT! Before choosing, also search on the topic "how to remove xxx" - sometimes such software digs into the system so much that you can’t push it out later
