FPS limit with RivaTuner. It makes sense?
I'm trying to deal with overheating of the laptop (in games) by all available means. With the help of RivaTuner I limited FPS to 60 globally for all 3d applications. Question: does this limit reduce the load on the CPU / GPU and, as a result, the temperature?
Why can't I answer my own question? According to my observations, there is not much difference in temperature, so I thought, isn't it useless?

Well, a typical developer Alexander
, here's an example of lowering the temperature through VSync in GTA 5
VSync incl. the card produces 60 fps - vidyukha plows at 99-100% temp
. no more than 75%, the plane flew away in the house there is silence))
although this probably won’t work with a clamshell if there was initially SO ***but.
But in general, I came here to find out how to lock FPS through Riva)))
