You need to connect the Canon SX 130 IS to the monitor's VGA connector.
The kit included an AVC-DC400ST cable (usb to rca), but it was safely lost.
As far as I understand, despite the digital interface (USB), the signal is analog via this cable.

Help me find the pinout of the AVC-DC400ST cable. Well, or the best option is a USB to VGA pinout.

There's not just USB, but USB + AV. It's easier in my opinion to buy a new cable.
