Forward a vpn connection from the host to the virtual machine, while the traffic generated by the host should not go to the vpn?

It is planned to run viruses and other dubious software in the virtual machine, which does not need to know my IP at all. For this reason, setting vpn on the side of the virtual machine is not considered, only on the host side. I can insert an intermediary between the host and the virtual machine - another virtual machine - a trusted intermediary that distributes the Internet to an untrusted virtual machine, wraps all traffic in vpn, with this configuration, the host goes to the regular Internet, without vpn. But I wonder if it is possible to do without an additional link. Suggested configuration: host - linux, openvpn, virtualbox, network adapter type in virtualbox virtualbox settings - host only.

@Diman89

It would be more correct to implement this on the router by adding the appropriate routing rules
