For what reason can there be marks from the contacts on the 3.5 minijack headphone plug?
Hello! After several months of active use of a full-size closed-type gaming headset, I found noticeable marks / dents on the gold-plated 4-pin 3.5 plug. The headset is used exclusively with a laptop, the marks are only on the input pin for the left speaker. The headphone impedance is 45 ohms, which is a bit too much for a laptop sound card, so I tend to crank the volume almost to the maximum. Maybe this is the reason?

What I saw in the photo provided by the author of the question, in my opinion, has nothing to do with the plug in the laptop. Most of all, this is similar to a single grip on the head with wire cutters, pliers, or the tips of long-nose pliers. Most likely accidental, but possibly also to correct a kink.
I suppose you can ignore this and continue to use the plug further. Well, if you really want aesthetics, you can carefully smooth out these burrs with a needle file.
In general, it looks like clamps in the 3.5 mm port.
There are such things, as in the socket, which hold the plug in place.
Apparently, they are too strong in your laptop (:
