For the first time on Linux, and even zabbix, what is the easiest way to build monitoring?

The crux of the matter is how? And most importantly, how is it easier to make UPS monitoring using ZABBIX? IP connection.

What is the UPS? Maybe it is monitored via snmp, or maybe it sends data via usb? In the first case, you light snmp monitoring, in the second, apparently, look for a console utility for this UPS and write userparameter for zabbix.
In general, the task is not the easiest for a beginner.
