C# on linux or windows?

I switched from win to linux, but then the question arose 'is it worth writing in c# in linux?'.
For django linux projects I have enough. On Windows, I like VisualStudio, but I would like it on linux, I read at the expense of the analogue they write that 'forget c# under linux .. '. Is this true in 2k19). Thanks in advance.

For simple projects, Visual Studio Code is enough. Fix, build project. It is possible to be smeared with any plug-ins besides.
There is also a paid JetBrains Rider, but who does not like it after Visual Studio, someone is not ready to pay.
It is best to write under Windows, but on both / all platforms. Personally, this is my path.

There are no problems with C# under Linux today. The editor can be any, there is a .NET Core CLI.
