Font difference on MAC and Windows?

The layout uses the Open Sans font (taken from https://fonts.google.com). On Windows, the font is the same as the layout; when viewed from a MAC, the font is different (Google Chrome browser). When viewing the font on the https://fonts.google.com page itself , there is no difference.
How to make fonts appear the same?

It seems to be somehow crookedly Russified. Use either Arial for web compatibility or Helvetica - it's almost indistinguishable from Open Sans.
