Folder icons missing in Finder sidebar, how to fix?

They used to show up, but now they're gone, does anyone know how to fix it? It seems that the icon can be changed, but I don’t really know how to pull out the standard folder icons

Try going to the ~/Library/Preferences
folder and deleting the com.apple.sidebarlists.plist file and restarting your computer/finder
