First linux distro to learn?
Dear Linux users! Appeal to you. Today I firmly decided that it's time to tie up with the abuse of Windows and we need to adapt to the tench.
I want to put a full-fledged distro next to Windows and start digging into it, understanding it. From the experience on Lina, I only have Kali for the classmate troll, and that's it. But I'm tired of sitting at the msf + ngrok level, and I want to start learning linux in earnest.
But I don't know which distro is better to install! Everyone says that the best choice for beginners is mint, but I don't want to take the easy way, so this is not my option (I could be wrong). About Ubuntu, I heard that it is something "middle" between Windows and macOS, but they say that it is not very stable.
In general, difficulties do not scare me!
I hope I have made myself clear.
Thanks in advance for your replies!

Firstly, if you want to delve into it, then no parallel with windows.
From distros debian (defacto standard), arch (at worst manjaro) if you want to delve into devices. These are the basic starting points for knowledge, the first into the bias of stability and sale, the second into the bias of relevance and the unknown. You can compare it like windows 10 LTSB and windows 10 insider preview, with a slight difference that in the latter case, everything is much more interesting and much more.
If you can sit in Linux for more than a year, then consider that you have just begun to learn tseng and learn charms, otherwise you should not flatter yourself.
Everyone says mint is the best choice for beginners, but I don't want to take the easy wayNonsense, don't pay attention. The easy way is to run to Toaster with questions like "First linux distro to learn?" without fear of difficulty.

Good.
Linux is bad with games, you need to be able to read and search in Google, think.
Do you need it?
And now, on business)))
1- take a distribution kit the same as that of a nearby Linux guru (whom you can simply and directly ask - the Internet has recently been littered with advice from another opera and not on business)
2 - clearly define what you need from Linux (many write a lot of abbreviations that they know - but as experience shows, in fact they know by inches) - it’s impossible to know everything
3 - make a backup of what you have, demolish everything, put Windows on half of the disk, Linux on the other half
4- Try))) good luck)))
