There is an HP LaserJet 1100 printer connected via LPT. In Windows, after suffering with DPS ("Driver Pack Solution"), the printer worked fine, in Ubuntu it started right after the initial system update! And how to run this unit in Mac OS X?! How to patch drivers in OS X for this printer?!

Try the official driverpack for legacy devices. Download from here Just connect it via USB
