File extension issues in Sublime Text 2?

There is an html page with the simplest code.

  <title>HW</title>

Hello World!
 </body>

When saving in CT2, I choose the .html file type, but when I try to open it, it prompts me to select a program, and if I save it in notepad in the same extension, the file looks like an html document.

Are you sure you are choosing the right HTML. In ST2, several types of files are named like this: for example, HTML(ASP) or HTML(Erlang). You need the very first one in the list (it's also the longest one).
