Feeding the sh72 soldering iron from 6 cans of 18650 with bms?

Can I power it from 6 consecutive cans of lithium with bms, this is 25.2v maximum charge, because max 24v soldering iron power is declared, maybe there is a built-in stabilizer, if not, how can the voltage be stabilized 22-25.2v to 24v? There is a lowering LM2596 available, but this is some kind of crutch, it will not take out the current up to 3A.

can.
at 24 volts, it eats 2.7a, so even low-current batteries will be pulled.
inside the lm2904 it is officially up to 26v, so the voltage must withstand.
full discharge of batteries, count up to 18 volts, see how much the power drops.
if you have experience in circuitry, then you can shove a shutdown inside the soldering iron at an input voltage below 18 volts and approx.
