External Pocket/Adapter SATA<->USB to Ext4?

Recommend a device for connecting a regular 3.5" SATA 2 hard drive to Fedora 16.
On the Ext4 FS screw, and on it an LVM2
volume . FS of a volume connected via this adapter.Here
this bug is described and one of the unsubscribers writes that everything works on a slightly different adapter, the difference is only in the Device ID, i.e. everything is fine on 152d: 2351, but on one like mine 152d:2338 does not work for him either, so this is a problem of a specific controller.I
don’t want to blindly buy a device in an online store, which may not work as I need, and technical support usually cannot answer such specific questions.
If someone has experience with any other similar adapter or pocket specifically for Ext4, please share the information.
UPD : here is a snippet of the log when the adapter is connected at the request of jcmvbkbc :

After that, I see this disk in the system-config-lvm GUI - the LVM manager correctly "sees" the physical disk itself, its physical representation, but in the logical representation of the volume it writes " There is no file system."

@AlexTest

The mounting problem was solved with the command:
vgchange -ay vg_name The following device was bought: Welland
docking station for HDD 2.5"/3.5" USB2.0/eSATA (ME601J)
Its controller is perfectly recognized by the latest Linux kernel.
External drives connected via eSATA work almost at the same speed as internal ones on SATA
via USB, everything is also fine and works quite quickly, but twice as slow as via eSATA.
The fact that the drive case sticks out of the docking station makes it easy to cool it with any external fan.
The platform is quite resistant to tipping over and does not slip on rubber feet.
