Express software installation in Windows

Question for system administrators :)

There is nothing more tedious and boring than the initial installation of programs on a pristine system. Three operations: “Opened the siteâ€, “downloaded the distribution kitâ€, “installed the program†- and so on twenty times. Browser, messenger, codecs and audio / video player, PDF reader, office suite, antivirus, latest versions of Java / .NET Framework / Flash, archiver - in general, the whole gentleman's set.

What do you use to automate software installation? About Ninite services , AllMyAppsand similar ones I know. What I don't like is that, firstly, you need high-speed Internet, secondly, their repositories do not have everything you need, and thirdly, all parameters (installation directory, etc.) are ultimately entered manually. Those. services only allow you to save time on visiting the website of the program manufacturer and sometimes on installation (installs with default parameters).

I also looked at automated assembly systems such as Smart Install Maker, NSIS, Wix, Inno Setup and the like, but they do not read the parameters of the finished installation package along the way, but solve a slightly different task.

The ideal solution would be a program that allows you to stupidly select the necessary executables, set the default installation options, collect it all into one executable, when you run it, everything is installed in a hidden (or not so) mode where it needs to be. Something similar is used in Zver DVD, I think it's called WPI, but I don't understand how it works and what it does...

If the task is precisely “installing programs on a pristine systemâ€, then it’s not easier to install everything once, remove the image with Ghost (pre-prepare the system in order to avoid problems on other hardware), and then keep this image up-to-date (once a month - install two win-updates and update the software, if necessary)?
This is exactly how our helpdesk works. The time spent on replacing the system comes down to replacing the hdd, installing firewood for new hardware, installing it in a domain, and minimally setting up user software.
If you want to install something on all computers in the domain, then you can implement it through GPO, for example.

GPO, WDS, MS SCCM, WSUS.
And in general, with the same powershell - put distributions in a specific ball, there is also a script that will run the necessary installers with the necessary keys. This is how I installed XP SP3/flash/java/chrome/.Net4/ms essentials on the workstation, before entering WSUS with updates.
there you can still shove, for example, cleaning up% temp% and deleting old versions of software. Then you go around the typewriters and run the script under runas,
and at the end you can write a forced reboot.
