You take a distribution on a flash drive or disk, stick it into the drive / port or cling the image to the remote console (if the hardware is server), run it. If the distributor does not find firewood for the network card, he will scold you with a red message. All dialogues are utterly simple. If it did not find local storage, it will not display it in the list, that's all. Firewood makes sense to throw in the distribution, when you know for sure that they are not in the distribution. When exactly are they not? When the hardware is not server (that is, they may be there, but it is better to clarify).
