Experience moving from Win to Mac?

Please describe your experience of moving from Windows to Mac.
I have been thinking for a long time whether it is possible for me, since a working laptop under Win and many tools that I need for Mac are not designed (at least it seems to me so (: )
Of them:
SQL server,
One large bi system (deployed at me locally, although it can be deployed on a virtual machine, but this is less convenient and resources may not be enough for comfortable work),
1s,
a few more, but this is not critical.Of
course, you can put a second axis (Win), but then, it seems to me , the meaning of Mac is lost. The
second option is a virtual machine, but I think that it will not be very comfortable to work, due to a possible lack of resources.
Please tell me if it is possible to switch to Mac in such conditions.
I'm sorry if the question sounds or looks a bit incorrect (:

So why move anywhere? For fun and entertainment? OS is just a platform for running the necessary applications and you need to use the one that allows you to do this in this particular case easier and faster.

I have been struggling with hackintosh for three months. I will not arrange demogogy, but in general I returned to Windows and bought an iPad.

There are no viruses on the poppy, which is also important.

From my experience!
Problems.
1. Any office programs work differently than on win.
2. There is no possibility to launch many applications.
Pros.
1. Perfect network performance.
2. Reliability of equipment.
3. Simply beautiful.
This is a non-professional user transition - acer laptop to poppy pro. The girl got used to it and rejoiced in a week!

mac - the 2nd day, as if he was always sitting on it, there were no misunderstandings or inconveniences. (maybe because I'm somewhat familiar with Linux, iphone and ipad appeared before the poppy)
A working computer with Windows, there are also no problems when working both there and there.
I usually do all the documents in google.docs, so I can easily work even on Windows, even on a poppy, even on a phone, all other programs that are only needed (which were familiar on Windows) can be easily installed on a poppy.

In general, 1C does not work badly on postgreSQL, I would even say there are certain ++. As far as I understand, the only thing you write is a 1C joint with a bi system and, moreover, it is locked to a certain architecture, then of course you either stay on win or just a virtual machine!

You can put a parallel. Or try running 1C through Wine with PgSQL.

And I didn't have any particular problems. For a couple of days I got used to Cmd + Space to change the language, combinations, and now I can’t live without them. As a programmer, this did not cause any problems for me, well, except that I once had to look for a client for MsSQL Server and test the application to work with it under VirtualBox.
But for your conditions (1C, MsSQL), I think it will be more convenient for you to use Windows on a Windows laptop, because Windows on MB Pro is not the best option :)
