Enterprise Library from Microsoft what's next?

At one time, Microsoft released a wonderful Enterprise Library from the patterns & practices section of the Developer Center, I used this library actively before. Recently, I stopped following trends, but now the need arose again. I'm looking - the latest update of Enterprise Library 6 - April 2013, who knows what is the fate of this project, and maybe advise something more modern and relevant?
