Elementary OS on ASUS EEE PC701 - extended resolution?

Good evening!
I want to install Elementry OS on an ASUS EEE 701 4g netbook, but many windows, during installation and configuration, do not fit on a small screen (7 "800x480), so you can't press the button.
I tried to add 1024x768 mode via xrandr, hoping to get scrolling or zoom like in Windows with the AsTray program, but I get an error, apparently I need a patched
driver.If you set scale 1.5x1.5 through xrandr, then the required result is basically achieved, but the problem is that the cursor refuses to move outside the 800x480 area, which also limits applicability this decision.The
question is: what to do in this situation?

Hold down Ctrl, hold down the left mouse button anywhere in the window and drag it in any direction :)
