EC2 ubuntu-server: why are IPs not being pinged?
Amazon gives a free dedicated server for a year (ec2). Also gives out 2 IPs: private and simple. There is an SSH connection. The question is very noob: IPs from the Internet do not respond. How to make these IPs respond? Google didn't help me or just asked the wrong question...

Most likely, you need to fasten the elastic ip and allow pings in the security group
. Amazon does not give a dedicated server for a year, but allows you to use a certain amount of resources, in particular, enough hours to keep the micro instance running all the time, but I think they give 15GB of traffic there per month.
well, many will launch a powerful instance and then go nuts from a bill of several kilodollars.
Configure a firewall ("security group" which is for this ec2 instance). Check the firewall settings of the OS itself.
My card, which is required at registration, ends in July. That is, the card will be incapacitated and they will not be able to bill me in a year?
