Dual monitors (extended mode) cinnamon or...?

Hello.
For once, I decided to connect a BENQ-19 "1280x1024 lying idle for years as a second monitor to a 18.7" 1920x1080 laptop.
All configured, everything works. The laptop monitor is the main one, BENQ is the second one. Windows are dragged back and forth. In general, it's ok.
I could not find in sinnamon the ability to set a separate taskbar for the second monitor so that you can run your applications on each monitor. I found the Dual Monitor Panels crutch on the Internet, but it does not work. Removed.
Who in sinnamon or in any other environment does this work? And How? Please share.

@mikes

Works in gnome shell @ ubuntu 14.04
Just dual monitor panels. Even in xfce, everything seems to be normal with panels.
