Exclusively a matter of taste. Personally, I'm comfortable. I also used the Pen&Touch M in the reprinting of a large flexo printing house, where there was nothing to do with portraits / illustrations at all, and I used it better than a mouse - it’s convenient. Then I also made websites, web graphics using a tablet.
The pen is always in your hand and you can safely type at the same time, it is easier than a mouse. Borrow from someone for a day or two and try it yourself so as not to waste money in vain.
By the way, thanks for the reminder. It is necessary to get it and connect it, otherwise after the move I forgot about it.
I won’t say anything about current manufacturers, I used Wakoms (Bamboo One and Pen & Touch) and there was another Jenius (shit). Up to 8k, the choice is not so big, from Vakoms it will be enough for the same One or small Intuos. There are some others with obscene names, but it is better to study the reviews on the Internet to understand what they can do and whether it is right for you. Just driving around the screen and poking can be enough for anyone with a more or less high-quality pen.
A tablet is only needed if you decently dilute your layouts with illustrations and other hand-drawn elements. From the point of view of navigating through Photoshop, it is much more useful to memorize its hotkeys.
Tablets have already become the standard. but they are far from 8k.
from up to 8k, it is worth taking a closer look at the Chinese huion, which are often compared to vakoms. As far as I understood from the serious, only the tilt of the brush is not supported. but if you don’t draw, then you don’t care at all.
I ordered a 10 inch 1060pro for myself, until it arrived, I can’t say more.
to all: chinese xpen star is not very professional work. Do not take.
but in general in 2k17 I think you should take only tablets with a screen, everything else is much inferior even to drawing on paper.
Um... it's really a matter of taste. I didn’t understand the joke, to draw something - yes, but it’s for layouts, not at all, hot keyboard + mouse work much better and faster. The question is also how many customizable buttons you will have on the graph, because 1-2 is nothing at all, you can immediately forget about this, I have 8 of them, but damn it, no, no no no. It’s a good option to really rent it for a day from someone and draw with it, well, at least one banner, IMHO - pure perversion.
