"Dot" in the Dock on Yosemite stopped opening the program window selection menu?

I recently bought a macbook (air11 early 15), previously had experience using a hackintosh and a Leopard virtual machine.
Previously, when I poked at a dot, under the program icon in the Dock, the menu for selecting the program window opened, if, for example, 2 browser windows were open. In addition, dots were acc. the number of program windows.
On the beech is OSX 10.10.3, and at least open 100 browser windows - there is one point and when you click on it, respectively. I don't see functionality. Was he drunk?

I can't remember exactly how this worked in Leopard, but it's now possible to display open application windows via Mission Control (F9), or from the application menu in the dock (right click, ctrl + click, or long left click).
