Domain + vps + dns. How to setup?

I am making a website. Help with setup.
Initial data:
1. I registered the test.ru domain in nic.ru
2. I bought the VDS warm-up tariff from firstvds. (without DNS and other goodies - a bare server).
3. I'm trying to use the free DNS hosting from yandex:
- indicated my domain,
- for the test.ru domain, indicated two yandex DNS servers on nic.ru.
- uploaded a test .html file to the root directory of the site.
I get:
- The site and the test file are available at 123.123.123.123/test.ru
- I press the domain ownership check, yandex writes that the
.html file was not found
The next check will be: 03/08/2014 00:38 "
Question:
What am I doing wrong? What needs to be done to make this link work?

Make it easier. Yandex offers to confirm ownership of a domain by setting a special email in the contact details of the domain that Yandex generates. Set the email issued by Yandex (this is like the 3rd confirmation option). Then wait, the check takes up to 24 hours. Have done this more than once. I'm just using the link you're working with.

The site must be available at test.ru

Write the correct A-record for Yandex, exactly on the ip of the server on which the site will be. If there are troubles, please help. [email protected] or skype olivervarnce
