How to attach a domain to a wordpress site hosted on a vps server?
I bought a domain and I want a WordPress site installed on my dedik to open on this domain so as not to pay separately for renting a server for this business. WordPress was installed using the XAMPP control panel, on it, using the instructions from YouTube, I installed a template for the landing. It remains only to link the previously purchased domain to this site, if I understood everything correctly, but on Google requests everywhere everyone suggests doing this using different control panels of the hostings themselves where the server with the site is rented, but how can I do this if the site is on my server? Maybe a stupid question, but I'm a complete layman in this matter.

Any instruction for adding a domain to XAMPP will do, but instead of writing in hosts (as suggested in the instructions), write in the DNS zone of your domain (usually this is done in the domain control panel where you registered it) A-record indicating the IP address of the domain your server.
You can install a free control panel - and you will have simplicity and convenience - the same vestacp will do.
For all control panels, the answer is simple and one:
1. Create a domain in the control panel, and upload files there
2. Make DNS A-records www and @ on your server IP, you can dig deeper and make your own DNS, but the author of the question with his strange panel does not recommend
