Does your internet connection drop out periodically?

The essence of the problem: periodically (~ 10 times a day) the Internet disappears for 5-10 seconds. The intervals are completely different and no patterns can be traced between them.
I tried to connect directly via cable: the problem persists, but the connection to the network itself is not restored. You need to reconnect the cable so that everything works (I checked it 20 times).
The cable was recompressed - the problem remained.
A similar problem on the 2nd machine, which is connected to the same router. The connection on them disappeared at the same time. Haven't tried it with cable directly.

It seems like it just hasn't been tried. Can you please tell me where to look for the problem?

Hello.
See the solution here.
No matter how much you would like to have to connect the cable directly.
Or flattery in the router and watch the logs, which is not always informative and understandable to the user.
If everything is ok directly, option 2 is either a problem with the port of the router, or its firmware. We go by reloading the firmware. If you have mikrotik, then you can change the wan port to another one and see the result. If, alas, it didn’t help, then we take a new router into the test and make sure that everything works well.
The problem remains even with the cable directly: it means that the cable is pinched somewhere or the problem goes to the provider. There may be a dead port and many other reasons that the provider decides for himself. Here you just need to leave a request to them.

They lost connection at the same time.

Let's think... probably not in computers, but in the device where they are connected.
By the way, it would certainly be very nice to look at the router or switch during a failure - if the lights go out, the power supply may fail.

Check for duplicate MAC addresses. The Chinese can release the entire batch of network with one poppy

I do not rule out that you have pppoe. connection, and some device is connected through it, the break is higher, and vice versa, after a period of time you break that connection and everything works for you. It is necessary at the moment when it does not work for you, call those support and find out the activity of the session. Maybe some other information will prompt, let's say the poppy devices. Next, it's a matter of technology. There is also an IP conflict. Maybe not. your network, but with the provider's internal network. Try changing the subnet.

Does your internet connection drop out periodically?
Connect the network via wi-fi, if the problem disappears, replace the cable.
