Does WebDav Yandex Disk work for you?

Until recently, I successfully used Yandex Disk via WebDav. Various applications, systems, etc.
And then WebDav abruptly broke down. Small files are loaded, but files of 8 mb (and more) are not. Depending on what you fill in, the result of the operation differs.
Sometimes it doesn’t fill up at all, sometimes (in the Finder and in Windows Explorer) you can see that the file seems to be gone, but the state is stuck at 99%. Other applications simply fall off on a timeout.
I tried to contact Yandex technical support (well, I have a paid subscription, they should help), but they only help with working through the official program, and all third-party applications do not support it.
They say that they can't look at the logs, but there are no restrictions on working through WebDav on their part.
I asked comrades from different cities and with different systems to try working with Yandex WebDav and it doesn’t work for them either.
Question: Do you have problems sending files larger than 8 MB to Yandex.Disk via WebDav, or is everything working properly?

Yandex decided to fight those who use the disk for backups

Yandex just forgot to officially tell about it (support says that there are no restrictions). And users could quietly break backups.

Today I asked a question on this topic on ru.stackoverflow.com , they wrote in the comment that this is already a known problem. I read it on the Internet and indeed, everyone has this. It turns out Yandex has limited the download speed of large files. We did this by adding artificial timeouts when downloading a file - 60 seconds per megabyte. See the details here: After uploading the file to Yandex Disk via Webdav, the pro...
Could send a notification by mail or post information on the page https://webdav.yandex.ru/ . Now it simply redirects to the page of the Yandex Disk console application. I don't understand why this conspiracy.
By the way, about the console application. After all, you can install it and continue to make backups as before, right? There will also be a network drive in Explorer, you also save files to this drive and they fly away to Yandex Disk. Only not through WebDav, but by the forces of the application. Or is there a catch? I would not want, of course, to install an extra program. I'm very interested in the form in which it stores the Yandex password? In encrypted?

+1. For two years I used a 1TB paid Yandex disk and saved a photo archive there using GoodSync (I bought the application, the service hung in the background). About a month ago it stopped working, I did not notice right away. Played with the settings, nothing helps. I wrote in support of Yandex Disk and received the answer "we are not responsible for the operation of programs other than Yandex Disk." I killed a couple of evenings trying to establish synchronization !!!
If Yandex officially announced that the policy is changing, it will not continue to work like this and wait until people end their paid subscription, then there would be no questions for them. It's a business, that's understandable. And now it turns out that they just threw it quietly and do not recognize it. For this minus them in karma.

+1. Half a month ago I used KLS Backpu Professional for creaming backups of my hard drive onto the disk. Now the situation is exactly as the two previous participants wrote. Contacting technical support was reduced to the standard "use our program." Although I have a paid account. It looks like I'll have to leave Yandex. For their krivorukov technicians cannot help. Maybe someone will tell you an inexpensive cloud worth 300 rubles per 0.5 TB? Thank you)

Once upon a time, WebDAV emulation was written for the MailRu Cloud.
Being saddened by such a disaster with Yandex.Disk, I added emulation for it as well.
Works through the unofficial "WebAPI", the official Rest API was not used for obvious reasons.

Guys, you need to express dissatisfaction! I suggest leaving a negative review at least on Google Play!

Hello, Alexander!
Can you please tell me if the upload speed differs when working with a program for a computer or a browser version of Yandex.Disk?
In general terms, I would like to note that we do not guarantee the operation of third-party applications. We recommend that you use official Yandex.Disk applications to upload files to Disk.
By the way, I see you mentioned two different third party apps. Please tell us why, probably, they look more convenient for you than, for example, Yandex.Disk for Windows?
Thanks in advance for this clarification!

> davfs2, rclone
> Hello, after enabling two-factor authentication on your Yandex account, I noticed a decrease in upload speed if a week ago it was about 5-8 Mbit / s, but at the moment it is measured in kilobits. Were tested through davfs2 and rclone (own implementation, not through a mounted partition). What logs and screenshots are needed to diagnose the problem?

The REST api is also broken. There are no comments from support.
The console one is inconvenient, because it's only synchronization, you can't just send the file to disk.

The problem is similar and as a solution I had to switch to a paid mail.ru cloud (cloud.mail.ru). Fortunately, they have very cheap tariff plans. And there they clearly indicate support for WebDAV (and it really works, no problem). I've been using it for about a month now with no problems. And in Yandex. support does not solve the problem at all (even on paid tariffs - as can be seen from previous comments) and instead of recognizing problems (and help), they write some strange replies.

Now I wrote a similar question and your recommendations got out. I deleted mine in the end so as not to duplicate.
OS Windows 8.1
Programs: Duplicati (I use for backups), WinSCP, plugin for TotalCommander.
Previously, the download speed was about a megabyte, now it is at the dial-up level: 20-100 kb. Well, the connection is somehow not stable.
I checked through 2 providers (one mobile) - the result is the same.
If you throw a file into the browser, then the speed is 2 megabytes and higher.
Already canceled paid subscription.

Good afternoon. I also have a problem with WebDAV and Yandex Disk REST API. I tried through different servers: one in Russia, the other in London and the result is the same. Yandex support does not understand what is at stake at all and says that if the problem is not related to the application for Windows, then this is not for them
