Does the "report for spam" feature work? on twitter? How much "report" - what would the spammer's account be blocked?
Hello! It's no secret that millions of spammers-followers-seoshniks live on twitter.
And this, of course, to some extent annoying. For it does not make it clear how many real people are reading you.
Therefore, I always try to press “report for spam” with spammers.
But the question arose:
Does this function work? And how many “reports” do you need to block the spammer's account?
Answer the question

I think in order to block an acc, there will not be enough clicks from only one person, when a decent number of clicks from different people are typed, then they already look at the acc, otherwise it’s unlikely.
As far as I understand, the function works, but only the administrator can block, which cannot be found in the Russian language
I think it works. Somehow a spammer got into the habit of sending me a reply after each of my tweets (not to him). I complained about it 3 times. Then from him neither hearing nor spirit. Just as often, when I open the profile of a user who recently added me with a suspicious name, I see the inscription "blocked".
Yes, this feature works. Somehow 2 spammers bothered me, so I clicked "reported spam" and asked a few of my friends to also report the user through this function. Collected both times more than 10 complaints and users were banned within an hour.
So, try to fight spammers like this.
