Does the monitor turn on during remote access?

If I connect to a remote desktop, does the monitor turn on if it is in sleep mode (as when idle)? Or do you need to move the mouse on the remote computer to wake up the computer?

It depends on how you connect - there is no RDP, at least move the mouse there.
If there is a connection via a teamviewer or similar, then it happens.
