Does the flash guarantee the most accurate focusing?

Good night, share your experience, I often noticed that in all club or night photos where the flash was used, there is a very good focus on faces.
Is it somehow connected, does the flash measure the distance to the object and already correct the focal length, or is there often jambs and the camera focuses only at the moments of the preliminary flash for focusing?

The camera needs light to focus. If it is not enough, autofocus does not work well. The flash helps focusing because it has an AF Assist mechanism, a light source that turns on before the moment of shooting and illuminates the scene when autofocus is in operation.
