Recommend a camera

Hello. Perhaps someone faced the same choice as me.

I need a compact camera that I can carry well with me - not a DSLR, without interchangeable lenses, etc. And this camera should be able to shoot video from device screens well: i.e. I need, for example, to shoot how the application works on the iPhone - I turned on the camera - pointed - got a high-quality video output - the screen is in focus, not overexposed, etc. and everyone is happy.

Thank you!

I recommend Panasonic Lumix DMC-G3KGC.
Or you can wait for the new NEX5.

Panasonic makes cameras very well, from panasonic itself. My video shoots perfectly - the stabilizer exceeds all expectations. I carry it in my pocket.

I have a Sony NEX3 - I have enough and I'm happy. If you want, I can record a video from the iPhone screen and throw it off.

My 5th Nex is quite a good toy, in terms of ergonomics, of course, it doesn’t reach the DSLRs, but that’s not its point either.
For the tasks “pointed took off”, “clicked to take a picture” it’s just right, there’s not much point in waiting for a new version of Nex, and if you choose between NEX3 and NEX5, it’s better to take the latter ... he himself faced such a choice.

I recommend Sony Nex 5. For the tasks at hand, that's it. I shoot on Sony myself, so if you have any questions about this camera, ask

From hybrid cameras, I can only advise NEX-5 or Olympus PEN EP-1. Of the nexes, you need to definitely take the fifth one if video is important to you (this is their only difference in fact). The Olympus has good picture and video quality, there are minor flaws. Nexes often have a problem with the shutter.
Non-hybrid cameras (ordinary soap dishes) have several interesting options. In general, I advise canon and fuji equipment. Their matrices in soap dishes are the best. I can recommend FinePix F500EXR / 550. From Canon SX130 and Fiji S2950HD, S4000 superzooms.
