Does running through the 1ps.ru/ directories have any effect?

I heard that before, running through the 1ps.ru catalog was perhaps not the very first thing that webmasters did to start promoting the site and promoting the TIC and PR. Does it work now, what is the efficiency and is it worth the money that the service asks for this service?

I ran the site through 1ps.ru a couple of years ago. It did not give any particular effect.
And you also need to understand that in fact these are not directories, but the same sites that have set up a page with links. As knowledgeable people wrote, you need to run with normal directory listings through normal software.
