In the BIOS - no, but there are a bunch of other ways to determine if Windows is licensed, for example, enter on the command line slmgr –atoif there is any error message in the pop-up window - Windows is pirated.
Some activators install their own bootloader, the same KMS Auto installs its own process in the task scheduler.
