Does my monitor have a life of its own?
The situation is quite interesting.
I sit at the computer sometimes all day. One fine day, I turned off my computer closer to the night, forgetting that I had to upload a couple of files to FTP. I usually turn off the computer, monitor and power filter. As a result, I get out of bed and already go to turn on the computer. I turn on the surge protector, the computer, I want to turn on the monitor with a button. I press - nothing. How many did not press - did not turn on. Turned off the computer, the surge protector and turned it on again. I tried to turn on the monitor - nothing. I go to bed sad.
I wake up, I think to take the monitor to the repair. I turn on the surge protector, computer and monitor. Everything is working. What was it?
Decided to conduct an experiment. Turned everything off. I turned on the surge protector, I click on the button to turn on the monitor. After all, yesterday it was after turning off the surge protector that the monitor did not turn on. Everything turns on, everything works. Well, OK. In the evening I sat at the computer, I turn off the whole thing. And I decided to check again. I turn on the surge protector, computer, and the monitor does not turn on again. Turned off the surge protector, waited 20-30 minutes. Turned on the surge protector, pressed the power button on the monitor and it turned on. What's the fun in that? Something with the condors maybe?
