Does mac pro lag?

Introduction: I have hack i7 3770k, ram 24gb, 1 gb video, yosemity. Loads of frontend, digital drawing
Very often I wait for it for 0.3-0.8 seconds, maybe 10-15 times per hour of work. That is, he does not keep up with me, and I like to do everything quickly at the maximum speed at which I can.

Question: If I buy a poppy about the latest at least the initial configuration, will the computer be waiting for me or will I? Is it possible to completely get rid of waiting so that there is never a single lag? Or is it fantastic even for those 450?
