Does it make sense to study Azure Active Directory in our realities?

Good evening everyone!
I am now gaining knowledge on MCSA (I bought a course record for a 2016 server at a low cost), and I ask myself: does it make sense to start learning Azure Active Directory at the end of 2020 in the realities of our country?
It seems like Microsoft is trying to drive everyone and everything into the cloud, but companies sit on local AD and worry about confidential data. For myself, I decided that I would study local AD, but do I need to start studying Azure for the future right now?

From the fact that you know about it, it will not get worse.

In terms of general acquaintance, it will not be superfluous - licensing, for example, requires it even with local AD

It makes sense to study not only Azure AD, but also other Azure technologies, as well as AWS.
Large companies are already often hybrid and even multi-cloud.
