Does it make sense to order an OTP token?

I received a letter from the bank offering a free service for using a hardware OTP token. An online client-bank (using JavaRE) is used at the workplace with a USB token and a password to it. Should I be paranoid and use multi-factor authentication using an OTP token?

Definitely yes. There are viruses that will make payments for you and send them to the bank ... and you won’t even see them in the client-bank.
The OTP token will protect you from this.

As far as I understand, the virus must be sharpened specifically for this bank? It seems to me that the probability of catching this particular malware is extremely small ... Unless someone intentionally sets out to infect a machine.

There's a meaning. The risks are greatly reduced, but still does not provide 100% protection. You can bypass the OTP token during a MitB attack (well, even just with XSS).
Malicious software, as a rule, is tailored for most top RBS systems.
