Does it make sense to get MCPD certification?

Does getting the Windows Developer 4 MCPD certification make sense, or is it obsolete and should I get the Windows Store Apps Using C# MCSD certification? Which of these certificates is more valued by the employer?

As far as I know, MCSD certification needs to be renewed every 2 years.
And MCPD, yes, is outdated. The same, only the name is different.
Both are appreciated, but newer is better ..
