It is not known whether it makes sense for you to do something or not. I would not do it, because I do not see the point for myself in such a bike.

It is not clear what sense you are waiting for, therefore it is impossible to predict whether it will be or not.
will the read speed be like that of ssd
The read speed will be like that of hdd.
and reliability like hdd?
reliability will be like that of the most unreliable of the pair.

As they said above - the speed is like that of hdd (the slowest)
What makes you think that hdd is more reliable?
Disks are consumables in fact ... It
makes no sense. Better backups

Reliability of HDD is now much in the ass compared to ssd
Yes, and in general, what kind of reliability are we talking about in the context of only two disks
Maximum about high availability
Of course it will not add speed either

As I understand it, you want to put both ssd and hdd in raid 1 at the same time. I'm afraid it won't work much, because the ssd is faster and the slower hdd will most likely be turned off by the controller as "faulty". We had a similar situation on raid1 on one server with only HDD (Sata), when the failed enterprise-level disk was temporarily replaced with a desktop one due to the lack of the necessary disk. If you want a raid - put the same disks and the data will be written and read all in a coordinated manner.
