Does it make sense to change the old monitor?
At the moment I'm sitting on an old monitor, Acer AL1716. Does it make sense to change the monitor to a new one? Sometimes I notice flickering on the monitor, I changed the power supply - there are fewer of them, but they have not completely disappeared. Just wondering if this behavior of an old LCD monitor harms your eyesight?

If you feel uncomfortable working, change.
Actually, yes, it's bad.
Yes, it makes sense. And it’s better to immediately get a good one from 27 inches and an IPS matrix, you just go nuts on what the picture can be and how convenient it is to work on a large monitor.
Want to change / want not to change - this is purely your comfort and your needs.
Grandmother feels great on AL1716 - for communicating with great-grandchildren via Skype - above the roof
Familiar for typing and printing documents, a similar LG is also perfectly enough
For web surfing - of course, preferably from HD and higher, in fact, as for 16: 9 films
At work on a bunch of workstations where you only need to periodically enter / read information to / from the database, there is also a
bunch
of AL1716 - but there are technical specifications for ARMs about working with 1280x1024
monitor
