Does it make sense to buy a 24 'monitor with a resolution higher than FullHD?

Six months ago I sold a monitor: 23'8, 1980x1024, IPS-matrix.
I'm about to buy a new computer. The budget of the monitor is limited to 15-20 thousand, no more.
I recognize the matrix only IPS. Not enough for a 27" one. 27' FullHD is probably too grainy.
I'm looking at 24' 2560x1440 or 2560x1024.
Will such a monitor be visually more pleasing than the same one, but FullHD? Or will it just get smaller and that's it? Or do I not really feel the difference with such a diagonal - do not bathe and take FullHD?

For me, 27 more FHD makes no sense. Here at 32 inches 1440 would be fire. But all this of course on the taste and color. It is best to drive to the store, kick the human slaves, show two of some monitors and compare.

I am the owner of the Dell U2412M, the resolution is slightly different in height. There are not standard 1080, but 1200, which is very convenient. It seems to me that you should not take 24 inches for higher resolution. FullHD is the ceiling for them. But here everything is subjective. You just need to take it and see if it suits you or not. It’s like with cars, until you sit down and drive yourself, you won’t understand how it is.
