Does HTC Desire HD switch tracks when listening to music?

I am the owner of HTC Desire HD with Android 2.3.5. since 2010.
Relatively recently, such a problem began to appear: when listening to music (I use Power Amp) in headphones, the phone itself switches tracks, stops them and calls the last dialed number, and also switches from the “Wired headset connected” mode to “Wired headset with microphone connected” .
Reboot does not help, reset to factory settings does not help either. I tried to change the headphones or the player, but the problem remained.
Please tell me what is the problem and how to solve it?

Judging by your description, the phone is not new. As far as I know, such glitches can appear when the headphone jack is faulty. there are headsets with buttons for the suddenly triggered functions you specified ( proof link). That is, for “treatment”, you must first try to gently clean the nest, and, for example, blow it with compressed air (you never know what could get there). If it doesn't help, you can replace it. If you have the skills, you can do it yourself. For this, most likely, a soldering iron will be enough. The connector can be bought in radio products, or purchased at some local radio dealer, or bought in a specialized store as a spare part. If there are no skills, you can either take it to a service or to “craftsmen”, then choose the price / quality yourself. I would not give more than 200 rubles for such a repair (taking into account the cost of spare parts), because it takes 5 minutes.
