Does Bacula support backup of ESXi virtual machines like Veeam Backup?

Good afternoon. I hope the question in the title is clear.
There are n-th number of virtual wheelbarrows and three physical sideboards on ESXi 6.0, vCenter is missing. Decided to use Bacula.
In office I didn’t find any information about backups of virtual machines, but there is a whole manual on the backup-solutions website, but Bacula Enterprise Edition is mentioned there ... Previously, Veeam was used, so is it possible to use a free version of Bacula to backup wheelbarrows on ESXi? Or will Enterprise get along with free ESXi? (the authorities do not plan purchases).

Sorry if I'm confused in terminology or I'm talking nonsense, I just started to study the system.

VMware has a VADP (vSphere API Data Protection) mechanism for backing up VMs without an agent. VADP does not work with Free ESXi.
I doubt that bacula supports VADP...
