How and what is the best way to backup a site with your resources?

In short, the situation is this:
Yes - Several sites on different hostings (Jumla, Wordpress, etc.)
Need - Soft / script / tips on how you can periodically make backups to yourself on a stationary computer.
Conditions - Hostings are greedy, so you need either Ftp+mysql -> Archive, or a script that is not too gluttonous (so that the hoster's server does not burn out when I start backing up 50GB (figuratively). Actually, much less).
The reason for asking for help is that downloading many small files through filezilla is still a pleasure. Yes, and sometimes there are requests that such a file already exists (dumb, suddenly something will miss or lock up the file).

1. Each normal hosting presents its backup services. Everyone should have at least one backup. You can download it if you wish.
2. If there are many / large projects, then take a VPS and already backup it without restrictions on sftp
