Does an intern need to be good at testing?
I know a little unittest / pytest, I can write the most elementary tests. But, for example, I can’t imagine how to completely cover the application with Django tests. How critical is this skill for finding your first job?

Useful, but not super critical, especially for an intern.
If the project uses tests, they will quickly explain to you how to write them.
I don't think it's critical for an intern. The main thing is to see the potential in you. And the tests will be taught
