Does a programmer need a notebook for notes?

Does it make sense to use a notebook to write down the new syntax of the language being studied (for example, JavaScript) for a beginner? After all, almost everything that you write down in a notebook is on the Internet and you can always get access to it.

Yes, if you are learning something new, it is advisable to store the new information somewhere. But not in a notepad and pen, but in the form of links, bookmarks. For example, create a private JavaScript playlist in YouTube, create a bookmark folder with the appropriate name in the browser...
If you shovel a lot of information, then often you will not return to these bookmarks, but in any case, it never hurts.
As a last resort, get a local file on your PC for some useful snippets. But writing in a notebook is very inconvenient. Over time, when you learn, the whole syntax and program in your head manifests itself, just sit and write code. And don't forget to test :)

Usually they do not write down the syntax of the language, but their own developments, even small ones. You can always look at your work, and not proofread each line, sorting out what it does, but remembering to take it and use it.
In addition, they usually do not write down in a notebook, but simply can be used as a draft. I added the names of classes / variables, drew a diagram with arrows. She is always at hand, you can correct, redraw.
Then when it has already compiled, you can throw it away.

If you take a notebook for notes as a prototype of constant practice - yes. You need to write immediately the knowledge that you have just received in order to consolidate it.

I tried to copy and write down the key ideas of the new technology. So so it works. It’s easier to add links to docks and tutorials, because it’s not so easy to sort out your notes over time.
