Do you recommend using Proxmox in production?

Do people advise a good choice whether to use Proxmox or still choose the usual bare KVM? .Which is more professional
Note functions like ,live migration and backups ,etc

Proxmox behaves normally in production.
I have seen and poked around a bit with a cluster of 8 servers.
Another thing is that for "political" reasons, it was decided to deploy a cluster on oVirt and migrate virtual machines from Proxmox to it.
I don't recommend OpenStack tokma. Haven't heard any positive feedback.

It all depends on the requirements in proxmox under the hood of debian and the same kvm that can be driven by handles.
Production from non-production is essentially no different in this reason, the essence of the environments is the same, so that everything repeats
Here you need to look at the requirements of the production itself, maybe it needs kubernetes and you put proxmox on it

Everything is normal there. But poorly suited for hosting services. You have to write your own wrapper.
