Proxmox behaves normally in production.
I have seen and poked around a bit with a cluster of 8 servers.
Another thing is that for "political" reasons, it was decided to deploy a cluster on oVirt and migrate virtual machines from Proxmox to it.
I don't recommend OpenStack tokma. Haven't heard any positive feedback.
It all depends on the requirements in proxmox under the hood of debian and the same kvm that can be driven by handles.
Production from non-production is essentially no different in this reason, the essence of the environments is the same, so that everything repeats
Here you need to look at the requirements of the production itself, maybe it needs kubernetes and you put proxmox on it
