Guest migration (Linux) from Hyper-v Gen2 to Proxmox VE 5, how?
Good day.
How is it possible to migrate from Hyper-V Gen2 guest Linux (Ubuntu) to Proxmox VE (version 5) ?
According to the "manuals" on the Internet, it seems not difficult.
1. Create a VM with the same configuration as in Hyper-V
2. Transfer the disk to the server with Proxmox.
3. Import the disk in one of these ways:
qemu-img convert -O qcow2 Open.vhdx /vm/images/100/vm-100-disk-0.qcow2
qm importdisk 100 /home/user/Open.vhdx vm_local --format qcow2
4. Start the VM.
After that, the VM does not start:

I tried to change the controller, set LSI and SCSI by default. Different type of interface on the disk IDE, SCSI, Virtio - all without success.
Converted by the disk2vhd utility to vhd from the original vhdx format - without result. Also converted to vhd directly from powershell.
Generation on hyper-v is the second, so by default there is EFI. If you select EFI in Proxmox, it also does not work.

In the bootloader and fstab settings, specify the correct UUIDs of the partitions or the devices themselves.
make an image from the guest via dd to a network share, and then deploy to proxmox from under any livecd and update the bootloader.
Don't worry, just migrate rsincom skipping system things, the easiest and most effective method
